How to fold socks

Today, the professor i-love-socks Pillow lectures about how to fold socks correctly.

First, stand at the top end of the socks.

Second, start folding from the top end.

Long socks like this requires pulled-up by beak.

Fold it all the way down to the other side.

Long socks are relatively tricky.
Be careful not to screw up like this.

Store explorer: Birdmore (Saitama, Japan)

Off to birdstore in Saitama to get bird goods for my birds.
I've wanted to visit this store as they seem to do honest business.
Birdmore is the name and located in the midst of residential area in suburb of Tokyo, approxmately 1.5 hours driving from my home.

Mainly selling bird goods and foods, they also have a couple of living birds upstairs.
Very CUTE & friendly female White-bellied Caique, Orange-winged Amazon (that looks so much like Soprano but no blue on head), African Grey, Jardin's Parrot and Ruppell's Parrot were waiting for the future mom/dad to spend good bird life together.

The store staff are nice and friendly and I can see they are working there because they love birds.
It was twilight time at weekend when I visited, but the store was not too busy.
Online merchandising could be a big part of their business as I actually got to know them via Internet.
Selection of goods are pretty good. You can find variety of bird goods from exports to domestic ones. They even sell their own acrylic bird carry-on. Three sizes available: S is up to cockatiel, M to connure, L to cockatoo.

The location is kind of hard to find. Follow the direction by Google Map and look for red electric sign that says "鳥かご" when you get closer.

I had nice chats with the regular customers who brought wild birds photos they took at nearby park. It'd be your nice birdie weekend to go birdwatching at park then stop by at Birdmore on the way home.
